âI stayed here for about two weeks on my first visit to Rwanda. The hotel is well placed near the downtown district and just in front of Parliament. The area is safe, quiet and very accessible to public transportation. Restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. The view of the city from the rooftop pool and bar is breathtaking. The staff are immensely helpful and courteous, and the receptionists go above and beyond. I am particularly impressed with the helpfulness of Kevin Kirezi at the front desk who had me change rooms when detecting bad orders (without being asked) and assisting with transportation and food. The gym and restaurant on-site are more than enough, and the property is well maintained, lean and quiet. Itâs a great property for solo or couple travelers, but might not be ideal for babies or young children as noise can carry. The in-room amenities like full fridge, oven, stove and washing machine was a very nice addition, and all in all my stay was fantastic and without complaint. I recommend this hotel with no hesitation, having traveled across 4 continents, are recommend a commendation and/or promotion for Kevin.â

âExtremely Noisy and Poor Management
I stayed at this property and experienced severe noise disturbances at night, including rooftop parties
The noise was so loud that we could not sleep,Management failed to take effective action or provide compensation.
If you value peace, rest, and professionalism, I strongly do not recommend this place. There are many better alternatives in Kigali with much better sound control and management.â

âI stayed at this hotel for an extended period, moving between four different rooms. Here are my detailed impressions:
Positives:
âą The staff are friendly and try their best, even if they are not highly professional.
âą The rooms are furnished and functional, though not with high-end materials.
âą The location is convenient, although it is not well known by many taxi or motor drivers, which sometimes made it difficult to reach directly.
Negatives:
1. Power Outage â On September 4, 2025, there was a power outage and the hotel had no generator, leaving us in complete darkness.
2. Lift Out of Service â The lift to the B3 parking level has been out of service for nearly a week, even though it worked when I first checked in. Carrying luggage by stairs became a must.
3. Room Experience â When I was moved from one room to another, my shoes were misplaced and never recovered. In some rooms, showers did not work properly. Carpets looked dirty and seemed like they had not been washed for a long time.
4. Service Quality â They advertise walkie-talkies in rooms, but I never received one. Requests had to be made by calling a mobile number, and staff often did not answer the first call or replied very late. Room cleaning was consistently poor.
5. Breakfast â The breakfast was the same every day, with little variety and below-average quality.
6. Laundry Service â Laundry was frustrating: no checklist provided, no price list for individual items, and it felt like an informal side business run without accountability. Returning clothes took too long and required chasing different staff.
7. Airport Transfer â My booking included airport transfer, but the hotel refused to provide it.
8. Compensation Issue â When my shoes were lost, instead of addressing the problem properly, they simply offered a late checkout as compensation. I did not accept this, as it wasnât important to me and did not solve the problem.
Overall:
This place needs serious improvements in service standards, cleanliness, facilities, and professionalism. While the staff try their best, management clearly does not have strong systems in place. For the price and expectations, the experience was disappointing, and I cannot recommend it until major improvements are made.â

âThe hotel was clean, quiet and with friendly staff that gave you all the help you needed. The restaurant had excellent food and the staff was fantastic both morning and evening. The room was large and well equipped. The location is convenient with all you need within walking distance. We were very happy with the place and can recommend it for anyone.â
