“There is an urgent need for greater flexibility in payment schedules for self-paying students, as rigid policies can significantly affect students' academic progress. I personally experienced this when an examination was scheduled a day before my salary payment, and despite reaching out to several offices, including the financial office and the Dean of Graduate School, I was not permitted to take the exam. This situation highlights the importance of accommodating such circumstances to ensure that students are not unfairly penalized due to unavoidable financial timing issues.Above all,the university remains one of the best in Rwanda, delivering quality services to its students.”
