“12 Degree is without a doubt one of the best wine bar restaurants in Kigali. Chef Lily and her team are truly amazing. She’s a French chef from the south of France, and you can feel her passion and expertise in every dish that comes out of the kitchen. The wine selection is incredible, carefully curated, diverse, and perfectly paired with the menu. The cocktails are also delicious, crafted with real attention to detail and good quality alcohols. The staff is very welcoming and professional, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Whether for a dinner, a glass of wine, or a night out with friends, 12 Degree is a must-visit. Highly recommended!”

“I had a lovely evening here; the atmosphere and service were top-notch. I ordered the mushroom risotto, which was initially delicious—the first few bites were packed with flavor. However, as I got further into the dish, it felt a bit overly ambitious. With so many competing textures and intense flavors, it became quite heavy and overwhelming to finish. A beautiful concept, but perhaps a case of 'less is more' would have let the ingredients shine better. Otherwise quite nice.”

The recent menu expansion is the cherry on top: if you’re looking for the ultimate vegetarian burger in Kigali, look no further… Lionel, Diane and the whole team consistently deliver excellent service, and the live music nights never miss. I was going to give this place 6 stars but I reduced it to 5 because they won’t let me move in 🥲”
