Visa — e-Visa or visa-on-arrival
German passport holders need a visa. Apply through the e-Visa at irembo.gov.rw at least 72 hours before departure (USD 50), or pay USD 50 visa-on-arrival at Kigali International Airport.
Getting to Kigali
- Brussels Airlines via Brussels. Frankfurt (FRA), Munich (MUC), Hamburg, Berlin → Brussels → Kigali. Direct on the Brussels-Kigali segment. Total ~12 hours. Round-trip economy €620-1,100.
- KLM via Amsterdam. From multiple German cities → AMS → KGL. Reliable daily routing.
