âI visited Wiwo Hospital for both an ECG and an Echocardiogram, as clearly discussed beforehand. I was told the total cost for both tests would be 25,000 RWF, which I paid in full. However, they only performed an ECG and falsely claimed that ECG and Echocardiogram are the same â a completely inaccurate and unacceptable explanation. These are two distinct tests with different purposes, and any medical facility should know that.
To make matters worse, I tried calling their contact number for clarification, but no one responded. The room where the test was done looked outdated and poorly maintained, and the overall environment did not feel professional or hygienic.
This experience left me feeling deceived and deeply dissatisfied. Patients deserve transparency, respect, and a clean, trustworthy environment â not misinformation and neglect. I cannot recommend Wiwo Hospital based on this experience.â

âPlease, talk to your receptionists to improve on their customer care. I was not happy with today's experience with your guys.
Luckily, your doctors and nurses are nice. But when it comes to those we meet first!?!â

âAm so happy with their service. A big thanks to Dr: Kayibanda Emmanuel for the treatment which he gave to me. He is a well experienced surgeon and very peaceful man and he explained very clearly everything about my treatment.â

âThe one of the greatest hospitals in Kigali Rwanda. The most doctors are from India. I took my new born son to Dr. VASIM HASAN RAJA SHAIKH MD, for CIRCUMCISION. He was great help. First time experience was really good. I really appreciate their customer service but the second time that I went there I wasnât happy with theyâre customer service. But I donât want to give them less stars just because I am giving the 5 stars doesnât means that the top person doesnât look out for the customer service⊠I love to come next time to see a better customer service hopefully. You guys need to work on that.. on every business customer service is the most important!â

âMy recent experience at this hospital was profoundly disappointing. I arrived after an accident, having been improperly transferred from another facility. I was confused, in significant pain, and concerned I had a concussion. Despite my vulnerable state, the staff I interacted with, specifically at reception and one doctor, were condescending and dismissive. When I attempted to explain my situation and frustration, I was not met with empathy but rather with a tone that felt like a scolding, mind you it had reached night time and I was getting more and more worried I wouldnât find help. My legitimate concerns about a potential head injury were not taken seriously, and I felt I had to advocate relentlessly for basic care. The there was some attitude shifted a little when I called my parents to help me at least get the ct scan. Although I had both insurance and personal funds, I felt utterly neglected. I did eventually receive a CT scan, but the overall environment was so lacking in patient care and safety that I felt compelled to leave before undergoing further treatment and never go to the hospital again. This was especially disheartening as I had chosen your hospital based on a positive experience nine years prior.
I hope this feedback encourages a review of staff training on patient interaction, especially with disoriented or distressed individuals.â
