âWe had the chance to come twice for dinner during our stay in Kigali and we LOVED it both times!!
Great food, wonderful view, amazing ambience, very kind service!
This restaurant is a must if you are looking for African cuisine. Food is very fresh, local and flavourful.
Although it's not easily locatable, slightly out of the city centre, it's a hidden gem!!â

âDisappointing experience.
The service was extremely poor. My first cocktail had an insect in it. When I asked for a replacement, the second one was so syrupy and undrinkable that I had to send it back. Despite that, they still charged me, saying their boss wouldnât allow them to remove it from the bill.
I ended up leaving without having a drink and still had to pay for it. Ruined my evening.
Terrible cocktails and bad service. I wonât be coming back. Food was okay.â

âWonderful Congolese vibe at this atmospheric and beautiful restaurant. We sat in the lower verandah down by the bar (plenty of seating), and were served by the terrific and fun Kellia, who lit up the whole space with her beautiful smile and welcoming demeanor. The food was superb. We highly recommend the âmayonnaise chicken,â as well as the sombe (aka pondu), prepared in the classic and delicious Congolese style. If you are looking for something different, fun, and with a relaxing, laid back vibe, Chez Yasmine is for you. We will be back!â

âThe food here!!! Omg! The best Congolese food Iâve had in kigali. Love the decor, clean, classy! Drinks are always on point. BUT⊠the food wait time is soooo crazy lol donât go there when youâre starving, next time I plan to pre-order because I refuse to wait almost two hours for food to be brought out. We had a big group (our second time) so Iâm not sure if itâs only because of that since we order so many dishes. Will definitely be back! Service is also amazing.â
