“This is a reliable chain cafe, think Rwanda's answer to a upscale Starbucks. But with more food. The menu is huge and eclectic.. salads, burgers, sandwiches, smoothies, bakery items, and surprisingly, some Indian dishes like chicken tikka masala. Which was an unexpected but welcomed twist Choices can feel overwhelming, but that's part of the fun. Food is decent. Tasty enough without blowing you away, and the Indian options hold up better than expected. Be ready for a wait; service is friendly but kitchen pace is relaxed. Great for a casual meetup, work session with WiFi, or just strong coffee in a comfy setting. Not award-winning, but a solid, no-bad-choice pick in the city”

“They prioritize white people. I came and ordered, after 15 minutes a couple of white people came and ordered the same thing as me. But guess what they got their food 10 minutes before me. Not mentioning the tasteless food. I’m allergic to onion and they literally brought onions despite me being specific !!!”

“The food was well plated and served in less than 15 minutes which is amazing! The aesthetics are also quite pleasing, however I recommend that they get placemats for their tables and center pieces that will bring out the appeal of a table. The WIFI was unfortunately very slow, and it was super noisy.”

“I visited Bourbon Coffee at UTC and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a soda, and the waiter opened the bottle using his teeth in front of me. This is clearly unhygienic and unprofessional behavior in any food service environment. When I politely told him I would not drink from it because of hygiene concerns, he looked at me as if I was overreacting and then walked away and appeared to laugh about the situation with his coworkers. As a customer, basic hygiene and respectful service are not optional — they are standard expectations. I hope management addresses this issue seriously and ensures proper food safety practices and staff training.”

“An excellent coffee and chocolate milkshake. Lovely spot and great views of Kigali. Staff were very attentive and happy to serve take away coffee early the following morning when in the midst of a deep clean.”
