“A few days ago, I visited Equity Bank Rwanda (the former Cogebank building) to renew my expired debit card. From the reception desk to the cards service desk, I was genuinely impressed by the level of customer care I received.
Because I had an urgent trip the next day, a staff member (Christian) took personal initiative to closely follow up on my request, keeping me informed and confirming when the card was ready for collection.
At first, I assumed this level of support might be a personal favor or simply because we shared the same name. However, I soon realized that the same dedication and attentiveness were extended to other customers as well.
This experience reflects a strong culture of customer centered service. Kudos to the Equity Bank Rwanda team for setting such a high standard in the service sector.”

“WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. It took them 2-3 hours to open a bank account. Their employees are worst in the service. It’s like they are forcing them to do their job. Employees are slow, MAD while working ( they don’t smile) not welcoming.
I was infront of the agent and he left me for 30 minutes without any service.
Very disappointed in the service.”

“Poor customer service,
I don't know why Bank act like this, when customers are seating Infront of the customer provider but he/ she can't work nicely and quick as well. I arrived at the Bank early morning 10:h00 , My card was expired and I had urgent online payment. Unfortunately, The customer provider went for hour and didn't comeback. I stand up and ask their colleges if no one can even help us. But they were keep telling that he is coming. For sure, Try to change this habit of working slowly, People come to Bank but when also want to go to work as well.”
