Visa — e-Visa or visa-on-arrival
Dutch passport holders need a visa. Apply via e-Visa at irembo.gov.rw 72 hours ahead (USD 50), or pay USD 50 visa-on-arrival.
Getting to Kigali
- KLM direct Amsterdam (AMS) → Kigali (KGL). Daily direct service. ~8.5 hours. Round-trip economy €600-1,100. The default Dutch routing.
- Brussels Airlines via Brussels. AMS → BRU → KGL. Useful if KLM is booked.
- Qatar Airways via Doha. Less direct but worth checking for fare sales.

Currency and money
