- KLM via Amsterdam. CDG → AMS → KGL. Reliable daily routing.

Currency and money

- Italian and Levantine dining is strong. Sole Luna's pizzas are widely regarded; Arabic Palace's Yemeni-Levantine menu is the city's most-loved international restaurant.
- The coffee scene is impressive. Question Coffee, Rubia and Shamba serve single-origin Rwandan coffee at a technical level French visitors find genuinely competitive.
- Altitude. 1,500m. First 24-48 hours can feel slightly demanding.
