“We booked the coffee experience at Umurishyo Art Gallery through GetYourGuide, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Kigali. Since it was only us, it felt like a private tour. We went through the entire process of coffee making – from collecting, cleaning, grating, roasting, and cooking the beans, to finally preparing and enjoying our own coffee. Afterward, we shared a small snack with the freshly brewed coffee, which was a lovely touch. Our guide was very knowledgeable and even showed us a traditional local game, which made the experience even more unique and memorable. At the end, we received a bag of locally roasted coffee beans as a souvenir, which was such a thoughtful gift. This was a truly authentic and enjoyable experience – highly recommended for anyone visiting Kigali!”

“Umurishyo offers a beautiful cultural environment with great ambiance and authentic cultural songs that truly make the experience enjoyable. The setting is well-designed and welcoming. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing—we had to wait for more than an hour for drinks, only to be told they were out of stock. With improved service and better customer care, Umurishyo could easily become one of the best cultural spots in town.”
