He gave me a full-day tour of the city complete with personal stories from his life in Rwanda and some of the best sites in the city. Stops included a milk bar, Mt. Kigali, a local market, a delicious lunch, and the genocide memorial museum. Eric made me feel right at home everywhere we went, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. “We recently travelled to Rwanda for a wedding and decided we needed to do it all while we were there. Eric and Go Further made it all happen and took fantastic care of us. We ended up spending 6 days with Eric as our guide and we felt he was genuinely our friend by the end of the trip. We would've happily spent many more days in his company. We did a tour of Kigali which would've been very difficult to navigate on our own. It seems Eric knows and is liked by everyone in town. We enjoyed his personal insights into Rwandian culture and the conversations we had about the history of the country. We did the three day Safari with Eric as our guide and it did not disappoint. We saw the big 5. Well, I only saw a leopard tail and my son missed it completely. My wife was the lucky one seeing the full cat. They disappear fast. The Lions were far away out in the middle of the Savanah but we extremely lucky and got to watch them hunt a Cape Buffalo and it's calf. We happily found Hyenas the last foggy morning. I'm hooked and want to do it again. The tented cabins at the lodges inside the park felt luxurious and food was great. We could hear hippos nearby the first night and the view of the Savanah from the 2nd lodge was beautiful. Last but not least was the Gorilla trek. It was an experience unlike anything else I've ever done in my life. Truly one the best things I've ever done. Really magical. I also would like to give a shout out to Xavi for making sure all the i's were dotted and t's were crossed before we left the US. He was very accessible for any questions we had about our trip and we really appreciated the packing checklist. His organization made me feel like nothing would slip through the cracks kept me anxiety free in the months leading up to our adventure. Go Further is a top notch company. We have strongly recommended them to all our friends and family!”

“We traveled to Rwanda during the 2025 holidays and booked our safari with Go Further and we truly could not have asked for a better experience. “I am so impressed with Go Further! I had the pleasure of going on the full day Kigali City Tour and the Akagera safari day trip with them and wish I had booked a longer trip with their guides and services for my time in Rwanda. When I (hopefully!) return to Rwanda, I won’t hesitate to reach out to them again. Kigali City Tour: I thoroughly enjoyed the city tour. Although there aren’t a ton of traditional “tourist sites” in Kigali, the tour does an excellent job of giving you perspective of daily life and culture in the city. We drove through multiple neighborhoods making big and small stops along the way – I especially loved the stop at the market and local milk bar and simply watching the chaos of life going by out the window of the car. Eric was an incredible guide – extremely personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about all different aspects of the tour. He is also an excellent conversationalist and simply talking with him was a highlight of the day. A great guide makes all the difference! Akagera Safari Day Trip: I had the best day with Cedric while going on safari in Akagera. He was extremely knowledgeable about the landscapes and wildlife and great at spotting animals big and small while driving the vehicle – impressive! We saw 4 of the Big 5 on one of the hottest days of the year along with many other animals like hippos, baboons, monkeys, giraffes, zebras, and dozens of unique birds. Visiting in the heat of the day, I knew there was a possibility of not seeing much wildlife – but I got really lucky! When we stopped for lunch at a picnic area, I found out that most of the other tourist groups hadn’t seen half of what Cedric and I had. I credit our excellent day of game viewing to Cedric’s extensive knowledge of the park and his willingness to take less popular roads/routes, and his patience to wait for wildlife in the right places. It was a very long day in the car but it was incredibly worth it! I didn’t have the time, but I would recommend making this an overnight experience to break up the driving and spend a more leisurely time in the park for game drives, boat rides, and other activities. A huge thank you to everyone involved in giving me such a memorable time in Rwanda! I can’t recommend Go Further enough!”

“We did the half day kigali city tour with Go Kigali tours. It was such a fantastic experience! The guide Desiree (I am not sure if I spelled it right 😁) was excellent! She was very informative and funny as well!! .We got to know a lot about the history of Rwanda, genocide, the comeback after this. the history of Kigali, about the local people and culture,the milk bar, the murals and stories behind them!!!The itinerary was very good that it covers all the important parts of the point of interest but without rushing too much!!! I highly recommend this company who wants to do the kigali tour. You will be in professional hands!!!”
