The best signal in a beauty review isn't the score. It's the phrase "I keep coming back." That sentence â and its variants (my regular spot, my go-to, every month, third time now) â is the difference between a salon that's having a viral moment and a salon that has built a clientele.
We pulled every Google review for every salon in Remera and counted the return-language. Five places stood out â places where reviewers mention not just that the haircut was good but that this is where they always go. Here they are, in the order their regulars vote with their feet.
1. Cool Salon

What the reviews reveal: it's a relationship business. Jeanne, by name, is who clients keep coming for â which means the salon's value is bound to a specific person's skill. The risk in a place like this is succession; the strength is exactly the same thing.
2. Isaiah Nail Bar

The pattern at Isaiah is interesting: clients who know nails well â who name techniques like BIAB, gel, and structure â are the loudest advocates. That's a strong signal. People who know the craft are unforgiving reviewers. When they write five stars, they mean it.
3. NIK Salon Giporoso

If Cool Salon and Isaiah Nail Bar are specialists, NIK is the generalist. The reviews mention quick turnaround, weekend availability, and a wide service menu. Not every review is glowing â the 4.4â average means there are misses â but it has the volume that comes from being the first call most weeks.
4. Marina Bella Natural Hair Salon

The reviews here split: clients seeking natural-hair specifically rate Marina Bella highly, while clients walking in for general services sometimes report mismatched expectations. That's not unusual for specialist salons in any city â the reviews to read are the ones from clients who came for what the salon does best.
5. The Barber Shop

Eleven reviews is a small base â we'd usually want more â but when every single review is five stars and the reviewers explicitly mention coming back, that's the kind of early signal that warrants attention.
What the data tells us about Remera's salon scene
Three patterns emerge across all five lists:
- Stylists, not salons. The strongest reviews name specific people. Jeanne at Cool, Rose at Isaiah. Clients are loyal to individuals more than to brands.
- Specialists outperform generalists in retention. The salons with narrower offerings (nails, natural hair, men's grooming) generate more 'I came back' language than the all-service salons.
- Volume isn't everything. NIK Salon has more reviews than the other four combined, but the rate of return-language is highest at Cool and Isaiah.
