> Service: Expect to wait at least 30 minutes before anyone attends to you, and then hours more for your food to arrive. Even thee takes hour to come.
> Food: Even giving 1 star feels generous. I ordered tilapia and was served a very small, poorly cooked piece of fish, accompanied by boiled banana instead of the roasted version on the menu.”

“My experience at the Green Lounge Rooftop was truly enjoyable. Situated in an excellent location, the rooftop offers an unparalleled nightly view of Kigali that is hard to rival. When it comes to food, the menu boasts a variety of enticing options, all expertly prepared. While there might be a bit of a wait at times, especially during peak hours, the wait is easily forgotten when in the company of friends or family. Without a doubt, the Green Lounge Rooftop earns a spot in the top 10 of my must-visit places in Kigali.”

“I went to this restaurant on January 13 2026 with my sister for dinner after checking the reviews on Google Maps. The food was average, and the service was also average. Not worth the hype.
The main issue was the payment. I was charged twice. The staff said the card machine was broken and asked me to pay again using another machine. Later, I realized that both payments were successful.
What made this experience worse was that no one apologized or took responsibility. I kept calling the restaurant many times, explaining that I was going to travel and needed to fix this issue urgently. No one gave me an answer or solution. I haven’t heard from them until the moment.
Very disappointing customer service. I do not recommend this place. If you go, pay with cash or MoMo, not a debit/Visa card.
I would not put any star for this treatment , but I did it because I couldn’t post a review without it
Quick update: after more than three weeks they stopped answering me, and they didn’t send my money back, it was 44 USD.
So they literally stole it and that’s it. Be careful they’re such a thief’s.”
