“We went there for souvenir shopping. Greeted by a friendly female staff. The selection isn’t that big, but of great quality, authenticity and at reasonable price as well. We both found several things we love. Their shopping bag is unique too. We didn’t have time to try out their experiences or tours, but they look very appealing for an art and culture lover. Highly recommend this place.”

The staff are passionate about teaching and heightening awareness of the hundreds of cooperatives around Rwanda that produce exquisitely made clothing, ornaments and paintings. Our group spent a whole afternoon painting and crafting, interrupting it only to visit the shop next door, selling its produce. A great experience enjoyed by all 16 of my party and one I would repeat in a heartbeat.”
“Great experience to learn about traditional Rwandan arts and crafts. Dropped in and painted an Imigongo - artistic skills not required! Other options included pottery, weaving and card making. Theo was a gem to speak with and taught us many things about the history of this art form plus great conversation about this country, city and its people. Such a fun and relaxing afternoon, the sunshine and breeze coming through the studio were lovely. Great place for souvenirs from local artisans as well.”
