“I went to Maza at KBC to get my locs washed and styled.
1. I specifically told the lady who washed my hair that I cannot stay under the hood hair dryer for long because it gives me headaches, she completely ignored me. I kept checking my hair until I felt like it was dry enough and removed myself from that seat.
2. Once she started oiling my scalp, I reminded her that I’m styling my locs too. She said okay and went to get someone to do it, the lady came and asked me what style I wanted, I told her and she left to get « someone who can do it », the guy who she was supposedly getting refused and was mumbling excuses, I could hear him across the mirror. I decided I had nothing to do at the saloon.
This isn’t the first time I notice this man being reluctant towards clients, the first time was when he refused to wash a client’s hair because he’s a man and he refuses to touch another man’s hair!?
This time round I’m guessing he maybe was tired and hadn’t taken his break but debating in front of the client wasn’t the right thing to do. I’d completely understand if he said « I cannot do this right now, I’m tired ».”

“Straight up unprofessional! Lied they could offer the service I asked for, then lied that I had aggreed to some color I had not, thankfully I had 4 witnesses but even then the girl that lied did not deem it necessary to apologize and I did not bother. Will never set foot there again unless management becomes pro-active!!!”
