“I lived above Chem Chem for two months. The staff at Chem Chem were some of the kindest, most hospitable people that I have met. The service was wonderful. The food is delicious, and the best priced in the area, as is the coffee. The pool is cleaned daily and diligently. Rafiki is a charming man who will always make you feel at home. Roger is an inquisitive guy who will take a genuine interest in you and your needs. Phiona is so kind and made sure my coffee was ready every morning before the restaurant was even open, and there was another kind gentleman who took great care of me. The team at Chem Chem made a genuine effort to make my time in Rwanda one that I would never forget and represented their country so well.”

“This beautiful spot in the Kigali business district was a perfect option for a last minute meal on New Years Eve. The restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was exceptional and at a good price for the area. There are a number of meat and vegetarian options and the view and decor are higher-end. When we visited the restaurant was not busy and so the food came quickly and the drinks were served almost as soon as we sat down. The Christmas decorations were a special touch and overall help to make a great dinner experience before we went to join friends to celebrate the new year.”
